Oakland Bombers: Moss & Carter

Don't look now, but the Oakland Athletics are 46-43 and have been getting solid pitching all season long and recently some offense too.  A big reason for the offensive outburst is the longball, and two guys knocking their fair share of homeruns are Brandon Moss and Chris Carter.  Both are considered "washed-up" prospects that never panned out, but are producing now that they're being giving a new life in the City by the Bay.

In 27 games, Moss has 11 HR and 19 RBI.
In 9 games, Carter has 5 HR and 9 RBI.

Combined stats: 36 G, .276 AVG (32-116),  27 R, 5 DBL, 16 HR, 28 RBI, 1.077 OPS.

Small sample sizes for sure, but great results nonetheless.
