Oakland Bombers: Moss & Carter

Don't look now, but the Oakland Athletics are 46-43 and have been getting solid pitching all season long and recently some offense too.  A big reason for the offensive outburst is the longball, and two guys knocking their fair share of homeruns are Brandon Moss and Chris Carter.  Both are considered "washed-up" prospects that never panned out, but are producing now that they're being giving a new life in the City by the Bay.

In 27 games, Moss has 11 HR and 19 RBI.
In 9 games, Carter has 5 HR and 9 RBI.

Combined stats: 36 G, .276 AVG (32-116),  27 R, 5 DBL, 16 HR, 28 RBI, 1.077 OPS.

Small sample sizes for sure, but great results nonetheless.

Go A's..The A's are Banging and with Redick and Cepedes things are looking sunny on this side of the bay.

Seth Smith and Johnny Gomes are doing better too. :)
