Tommyknocker Brewery

Another week another beer. Today is sponsored by the the wonderful array of libations from Tommyknocker Brewery. Located in Denver, Colorado, the capital of microbreweries in the USA, Tommyknocker is rated the best brewpub because of its outstanding offering of tasty beers (the brewery itself is in Idaho Springs, CO). I was lucky enough to purchase their Mother Lode Sampler and try 6 of their beers for myself. Here's what they have to present in regards to award-winning handcrafted beer...

The Mother Lode Sampler busted out some fantastic stuff, my favorite being the Maple Nut Brown Ale. Authentic maple syrup mixed with chocolate malts makes for a satisfying drink at the end of a long workweek. Others in the case: Jack Whacker Wheat Ale (loving wheat ales the more I drink them, and this one only furthered that notion), Butt Head Bock (packs a nice punch at 8.2% alcohol content, plus caramel sweetness), Pick Axe Pale Ale (quality full flavor and aroma), Ornery Amber Ale (ruby color with a bit of attitude), and a "Miner's Pick" which happened to be Alpine Glacier Lager (type of beer that reminds you of other Colorado beers).

More Beers:
(yet to try)
*Cocoa Warmer Winter Warmer (sounds delightful!)
*Oaked Butt Head Bock (available in 12 oz 4-packs)
*Imperial Nut Brown Ale (knock you on your ass at 9%)
*Tundrabeary Ale (fruity summer seasonal)
*Rye Porter and Black Powder Stout (only on draft)
