Who are they? A couple of lawyers who put the firm in law firm? Obstetricians? Producers or stars of the latest porn flick? No! All kidding aside, these guys have had successful starts to their professional careers. Jeff Manship of the Minnesota Twins pitched one inning during his debut Saturday against the Indians. The 24 year old entered in the 9th, and struck out his very first batter. Doug Fister pitched his first game with the Mariners on August 8th. In two games, he has pitched 7 innings, faced 28 batters and struck out five. His current era is 0.00, with a whip of 1.00.
