1/4 Season All-MLB Team

The 2009 MLB season is already one quarter of the way through, with most teams playing about 40 games so far. More Hardball thought it would be fun to name the 1/4 Season All-MLB Team, using standard 25-man roster format. Many choices were difficult (ex- Albert Pujols over many slugging 1st basemen) and some inclusions were surprising (ex- Jason Bartlett).

Tell me something, going into the season, could anyone imagine an All-MLB outfield at this point of the season consisting of Raul Ibanez, Adam Jones, and Brad Hawpe? I think not. Sounds like some other dudes need to step up and start hitting the ball! Yeah, I'm looking at you BJ Upton, Carlos Betran, Grady Sizemore, etc.....

Still, a great roster nonetheless!

I hate the Mets, but in all fairness to Beltran, he's been on fire too. That's why I included him on the bench.
