A short list today as the Los Angeles California Anaheim Angels only have three players whose names are nouns. First in the lineup is Scot Shields, who used to be a decent defensive player. The 6' 1" relief pitcher is getting a few dings in his armor as his number of saves is continually dropping. One would think the eight year veteran would be getting better at this.
Next is Jered Weaver, an average pitcher, who often has difficulty putting power behind his pitches. This is probably because he's all leg and no arm.
Last is Torii Hunter, a $16 million dollar center field slugger. When not on the field, Hunter can be spotted cautiously tiptoeing in the Los Angeles area toting a gun. When asked about this bizarre ritual, Hunter cautioned "Be vewy vewy quiet,I'm hunting wabbit."
