In the Bleachers

Baseball's fans are funny. They are loyal to their teams, for better or worse. They'll call the evil umpire's every unseemly name in the book and shout insults to them (Hey Ump, have they stopped printing the rule book in Braille?). Fans will go shirtless in near freezing weather in order to promote a favorite player or to spell a message of encouragement on fish-belly white beer guts. But what makes the most ardent fans stand out the most are the signs they wave in the stands to attract players or the occasional Jumbotron or television camera. Below are some signs that cleverly made their point.

The Barry helmet is my favorite, I wonder where one gets a helmet that big?

Welcome back A-Hole!

I didn't realize your head was that big. You got any more huge ass helmets?

Thanks for posting that picture of the kid with the huge Barry Bonds helmet at the Cardinals game. I was at that game and read in the St. Louis paper the following day that Bonds actually joked around with the kid about it.

I know this won't be a popular statement, but Barry Bonds isn't all evil.
